🕒 School Hours

School Day: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Morning Arrival Begins: 8:00 a.m.

Tardy Bell: Students arriving after 8:45 a.m. must be signed in by a parent or guardian.

🚗 Morning Arrival & Drop-Off

Students may enter the building beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Parent Drop-Off

  • Enter through the front entrance using the designated carpool lane.
  • The front entrance is the only authorized and supervised drop-off location.
  • Morning drop-off concludes at 8:45 a.m. to ensure students are seated and ready to begin learning by 8:55 a.m.

Late Arrival

Students arriving after 8:45 a.m. must report to the front office with a parent or guardian to sign in before going to class.

Bus Transportation

Bus riders begin unloading at 8:00 a.m.

🚌 Afternoon Dismissal

Dismissal begins at 2:00 p.m.

Bus Riders

Students loading onto buses will begin boarding at 2:00 p.m.

Parent Pick-Up

  • Parent pick-up takes place at the front of the Burke Campus.
  • The pick-up line begins at 2:00 p.m.
  • All parent pick-ups should be completed by 2:30 p.m.

For the safety of all students, only authorized individuals may pick up a student. Please be prepared to present a photo ID if requested.

ADOLESCENT SERVICES

(Southwest High School Campus)

School Day: 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Morning Arrival Begins: 7:00 a.m.

Tardy Bell: Students are considered tardy after 7:45 a.m.

🚗 Morning Arrival

Elam Alexander Academy's Adolescent Services program is located on the front side of the Southwest High School campus.

  • Enter through the main campus entrance.
  • Turn right and follow the drive to the designated drop-off area near the curve.
  • Students may use the walkway that leads directly to the EAA entrance (double doors).
  • Staff members are available each morning to greet and supervise students until approximately 7:45 a.m.

Late Arrival

Students arriving after 7:45 a.m. must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the office to sign in before reporting to class.

🚌 Afternoon Dismissal

Dismissal begins at approximately 1:55 p.m.

Bus Transportation

Bus loading begins at approximately 1:55 p.m.

Parent Pick-Up

  • Use the same route utilized for morning drop-off.
  • Follow the bus and parent pick-up line to the designated area.
  • A staff member will ask for the student's name before release.

For student safety, only authorized individuals may pick up students. Please be prepared to present a photo ID if requested.

All car riders should be picked up by 2:15 p.m.
